Color: Brooklyn Waterfronts Artists Coalition National Art Show

“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.” ― Alice Walker, The Color Purple

Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways.” – Oscar Wilde

“There is no blue without yellow and without orange.” – Vincent Van Gogh

The Brooklyn Waterfronts Artists Coalition boasts 8000 sf of a Civil War-era warehouse on the Red Hook waterfront.  The enormous space of the gallery affords the opportunity to exhibit large scale work. This year, the show is joined by a prestigious juror – Lilian Tone, Assistant Curator at the Museum of Modern Art.
